10 tips for the holiday season

TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. During the holidays, it is easy to become engulfed in the long list of things to do (for others)! It’s a fabulous feeling to help and do for others. Remember to take time to fill your own cup, too.
MAKE REALISTIC GOALS AND SET REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. Remember why the holiday season is important to you and the ones you love and how spending the day(s) with them might be more valuable than preparing for it.
DON’T BREAK THE BANK. Make a plan so that you aren't creating post-holiday stress.
MODERATION MODERATION MODERATION. In food, in gifts, in emotions.
NO GUILT. Try saying no when you want to.
ASK FOR HELP. Yes, please.
STAY HYDRATED. Have a glass of water after each meal.
DO LESS THAN YOU CAN. Do what you are able and only commit to what you know you can commit to easily, so that you have time to enjoy.
SAY NO...AGAIN Seriously. Try it!
AVOID RESTRICTIVE BEHAVIOUR Eat the cookie.
