Dr. Mawji is passionate about Chronic Disease. She has completed her Fellowship through the world-renowned institution of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). Through this Fellowship, she has obtained advanced training in naturopathic & integrative clinical applications in a variety of areas including: Natural Hormone Support, Autoimmune Disease, Digestive Health, Heart Health and Naturopathic/Supportive Cancer Care.
Dr. Mawji recommends an integrative approach to healthcare and educates her patients on the importance of both conventional and naturopathic medicine. She encourages patients to keep an open dialogue with their medical doctor & other members of their medical team.
Apart from her training and clinical experience, Dr. Mawji has had the pleasure of serving on the Competence Committee for the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta. She has delivered numerous presentations across a wide variety of settings and has also been featured as a guest on the Redefining Medicine Podcast through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine in the USA.
Dr. Mawji enjoys ice skating, dancing, arts & crafts, volunteering in her community, spending time outdoors, reviewing recent research studies & attending medical conferences!
